Who it is for
Hotels, holiday rentals, tour operators and rental businesses that sell online and need availability to stay in sync across the website, phone and agencies. The typical problem is overbooking, or its opposite: places kept blocked just in case and never sold.
What you get
- Real-time availability, shared across every channel: website, phone staff and agencies.
- Flexible pricing: seasonal rates, promotions, agency rates, supplements and extras.
- Online payments, in full or as a deposit, with automatic email confirmations.
- A widget for your website that keeps your design and domain: customers book without being sent elsewhere.
- A management panel for bookings, changes, cancellations and reports.
- An agency channel, with dedicated access and reserved terms.
How I work on it
First I map your products and sales rules: what can be booked, how far in advance, which duration or capacity limits apply, how prices change. This is the most important part, because a booking engine that gets these rules wrong causes errors every day.
Then I build the availability engine and the booking flow, and you try them on a test environment with simulated bookings before going live. The widget is added to a site with one line of code, partner sites included.
Technology
Angular for the booking flow and the widget (also as a web component), NestJS on Node.js for the backend, PostgreSQL for availability and bookings, and integration with your chosen payment provider.
Time and cost
They depend on how many products and channels you manage and which systems need connecting. After the first analysis you get a phased quote: you can start with the website and add the agency channel later.
