Management software for boat rentals, with or without a skipper
- The need
- Rentals with or without a skipper, the fleet, staff, customers, extras, income and expenses to keep together, with contracts drawn up by hand and boat availability that was hard to keep under control.
- The solution
- Management software with an availability calendar, customer, boat and staff records, rental extras, pre-filled contracts ready to sign, income and expenses, a cash book and reports on every activity.
- My role
- Built together with one other developer: analysis, architecture, frontend and backend.
- Outcome
- In production at several rental companies, with the same frontend and server running as a separate installation for each company; contracts and reports are generated from data already entered.
